Coach Sinisa is no stranger to the volleyball world and comes from experience in both the international game and Division I collegiate game. 

Orginially from Croatia, Coach Sinisa played as a professional beach and indoor player in Zagreb, Croatia.  Started as a professional indoor player at the age of 16, he accumulated 4 National Championships. He also was the Croatian Beach Champion in 1994. 

Coach Sinisa later became the assistant coach for the Mladost Volleyball Club and the Croatian Junior National Team, again earning a National Championship in 2002. 

Making his way to the United States, he served as the assistant coach at Tulane University for 6 years.  Later becoming the Head Coach and Director of indoor and sand volleyball for Tulane University for 6 years. 

After coaching at the collegiate level, he co-founded Next Step Volleyball Academy where he also served as the Lead Instructor.  While running his academy, he coached Varsity and Junior Varsity at Academy of the Sacred Heart where he lead them to a State Championship. 

Along with all his coaching, he compiled many recognitions to include: 

- Conference USA Coach of the Year and Louisiana Coach of the Year

- Produced 8 Honorable Mention All-Americans

- Produced 5 Conference USA Freshmen of the Year

- Produced 2 Conference USA Players of the Year

- Helped lead the Tulane program to their first NCAA tournament experience

Coach Sinisa is a graduate of the University of Zagreb in Croatia where he majored in Kinesiology. 

Today Coach Sinisa lives in Virginia Beach with his wife Lacy and their two children, Steven (9) and Lelia (5).
